Garage Sales and Market Stalls are community-driven sections of Used Project, separate from the main store directory. They're for individual sellers and stallholders — not permanent businesses.
Garage Sales are for one-off events like house clearances, moving sales and backyard sales. Market Stalls are for individuals selling at a specific market or fair on a given date.
Both are free to list, require a Used Project account, and auto-expire once the event date has passed.
Visit the Garage Sales or Market Stalls pages from the navigation to see upcoming events. Filter by state to see what's on near you. Each listing shows the date, suburb, a description and — where available — a map pin.
To list a garage sale or market stall, you'll need a free Used Project account. Once signed in, head to the relevant page and tap the listing button.
You can have up to 3 active listings at a time across garage sales and market stalls. Listings automatically expire after the event date and free up your slot.
For market stalls, you can select your market from our directory to auto-fill the location details — or enter a market manually if it isn't listed.
Listings should be for genuine, upcoming events at a real location. Please don't list events that have already passed, fictional events, or use the listing sections for commercial advertising.
Used Project reserves the right to remove listings that violate these guidelines or our Terms of Service.
Used Project does not verify the identity of sellers, inspect goods, or facilitate transactions. We are simply a listing platform — the interaction between buyers and sellers happens entirely independently of us.
